Job Description

Responsible for the daily coordination of activities, problem-solving activity schedules, supply needs, and assist in the development of activities that meet the social, mental, physical, and spiritual needs of the residents. In addition, serve as the team leader to assure team members are informed of what is happening on a day to day basis and provide support to team members in facilitating the daily activities.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Two or more years of previous experience working with older adults

Current CNA certification required.

Certification as an Activities Director, preferred, but not required.

Computer skills.

Two years of LTC supervisory experience.

Frequent fingering, walking, sitting, talking, hearing and repetitive motions required.

Occasional reaching, kneeling, standing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling required.

Requires the ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and up to50 pounds frequently and ability to push up to 200 pounds in a wheelchair

This position is not substantially exposed to adverse working conditions. Adherence to universal precautions is required.


FT  Every other holiday and every fourth weekend
